This is called "another kind of storage", hanging with seven oak shelves that are connected with two 32-meter ropes within each of them woven through the whole cupboard. The brass weights below the cupboard are connected to the floor; hence they help it stabilize.
"The first inspiration came from hanging bridges and how they are kept together with steel cables. Normally furniture is standing by its wooden or steel construction. This cupboard is hanging which gives another perspective-hanging instead of stacking." Explained the designer, jelmer wind on its instagram.
